Pass Plus Driver Training

If you’re looking for ways to improve your new driving skills after you've passed your test, become a safer driver and perhaps earn cheaper insurance too, you should think about taking the Pass Plus training course.

Pass Plus is a government-run practical driving course that you can book through any registered Pass Plus approved driving instructor such as Malone School of Motoring. You do not have to use the same instructor you learned to drive with.

The course takes at least six hours and is aimed primarily at new drivers in their first year of driving, though any full license holder can take the course at any time.

What is it?

There are six modules to cover:

Due to certain circumstances some of these modules will not be able to given in a practical format but will instead be theory based. There is no official test with the Pass Plus course which will be a relief to many people but you will be assessed in each module by your instructor. You need to reach the standard of “achieved” or “exceeded” to receive your certificate.

When your training is finished, you will be sent a Pass Plus certificate by the Driving Standards Agency.
